L’Artisan Carbone is an independent composite repair and fabrication workshop based in Lamarque-Pontacq in France’s Hautes-Pyrénées region. Run by Régis Laurent, the business draws on 25 years of experience and specializes in carbon fibre and other composite materials, including Kevlar, glass fibre, epoxy and polyester. Its aim is to extend the life of damaged parts and help customers avoid replacing items that can be repaired. The workshop assesses repair requests from descriptions and photos, provides free quotes, and carries out work by appointment; postal or carrier shipping may be arranged for suitable parts.
Repair services cover a wide range of applications, including bicycle frames and wheels, ski and surf equipment, motorcycle fairings, car body components, boats, campervans, light aircraft, sulkies, pools and urban fixtures. The business also makes custom composite parts for motorcycles, bicycles, cars, boats, campervans and agricultural machinery. Available methods include contact and vacuum moulding, infusion, prepreg sandwich construction and mould making.
