La Rueda

La Rueda is a carpooling app designed for everyday commutes to work or university. It helps people find others with compatible routes and schedules, create or join one-off and recurring journeys, and share travel costs. Users can participate as drivers or passengers and choose which trips to publish or join within their organization’s community.

The app includes a digital wallet to track shared expenses and balances. Eligible regular journeys may also generate financial incentives through Spain’s CAE energy-saving certification system. La Rueda records and verifies qualifying trips, calculates energy savings under the applicable rules, and distributes validated incentives among the people who shared the ride, including passengers.

For businesses and other organizations, La Rueda offers private communities accessed through a corporate email or verified invitation code, along with a management dashboard for aggregated usage, participation, environmental impact, and savings data. Its services are designed for workplaces, business parks, educational centers, hospitals, and other sites with varied schedules.
