Larun Pesis

Larun Pesis is a Helsinki-based pesäpallo club offering a welcoming, social way for adults to enjoy Finland’s national bat-and-ball sport. The club invites anyone interested in pesäpallo to take part, regardless of previous playing experience. Its activities include shared summer and winter training, opportunities to play during the summer, and a range of social activities that bring members together.

Larun Pesis fields teams in women’s Suomensarja and men’s regional and local leagues across the Helsinki metropolitan area. The club also offers recreational pesäpallo, making it possible to participate beyond league competition. In several recent years, its members have taken part in the Finnish Championships for recreational pesäpallo and in other tournament games. Whether players are looking to compete, stay active, learn the game, or enjoy a friendly team environment, Larun Pesis provides opportunities to get involved. The club’s emphasis on good spirits and open participation is reflected in its motto, “Good-spirited pesäpallo in Helsinki.” Prospective members can contact the club to ask about joining and current activities.
