La Sastrería de Embassy is an artisanal luxury tailoring house in Bilbao, continuing a tradition founded by Juan Manuel Vela in 1982. Led by master tailor Jon Vela, the brand creates garments by hand from the first measurements through final finishing, combining inherited craftsmanship with a contemporary outlook. Each piece is made from scratch for its wearer rather than based on industrial patterns, with a process that includes personal consultation, detailed measurements, design choices, fittings and dedicated handwork.

Embassy offers made-to-measure suits, wedding and formalwear, blazers, and tailored pieces for building a versatile wardrobe. Clients can personalize details such as fabric, lining, lapels and buttons. The house presents a collection of more than 5,000 fabrics and 150 lining options, with guidance to help clients choose. Jon Vela also provides international sizing services, travelling to clients to take measurements and select fabrics. Based at Alameda de Recalde in Bilbao, the sastrería welcomes appointments and serves clients beyond Spain, positioning each garment as a distinctive investment designed to last.
