Láskou ke kočkám Sokolov

Láskou ke kočkám, z. s. is a nonprofit cat rescue based in Sokolov, Czech Republic, dedicated to helping homeless and vulnerable cats.

Founded in 2016, the association operates a shelter and works with the city of Sokolov. It takes in cats from the streets and those left without care after their owners die or can no longer look after them. Many arrive injured, abandoned, very young, elderly, shy, disabled, or living with serious illnesses.

The team provides daily care, food, veterinary treatment, socialisation, and support for cats that may never find adoptive homes. Cats ready for a new start are presented with their stories, while the association also shares information about lost and found animals and its neutering work. People can help by adopting, offering temporary care, making financial or material donations, or virtually adopting a particular cat to contribute towards its needs and treatment.

The association is also seeking support to repair a property intended as a safe refuge for older, shy, and disabled cats
