Last Memory Bestattungen

Last Memory Bestattungen is a family-run funeral service led by Manfred Echter, serving Schongau and Marktoberdorf for more than 25 years. The team offers compassionate, experienced support to families during bereavement, helping ease practical burdens and guide them through the arrangements for a dignified farewell. Available around the clock, every day of the year, the family provides assistance at its locations in central Schongau and at the Marktoberdorf marketplace, as well as in clients’ homes.

Last Memory supports families through each stage of planning, from choosing a burial type to organising the funeral service in line with their wishes. Options include traditional burials, cremation and urn interment, sea burials, and nature burials. For sea burials, the service can include a ceremony at sea and, if requested, a nautical chart showing the interment coordinates. The team also assists with grave selection and ceremony details. Customer reviews highlight the company’s personal, professional and empathetic care, reliability, and respectful treatment of the deceased.
