L. A. TACO is a unique brand that brings raw and street-level journalism to the city of Los Angeles.
As an independent platform, we are dedicated to providing news and information about food, culture, and community in the metropolitan area. Founded in 2006, L. A.
TACO was born out of a passion for documenting the things we love about this city, including tacos, weed, and street art. We have coined the term 'Taco Life' to capture our street philosophy and the unity that tacos bring to the diverse communities of Los Angeles. Our goal is to connect with our readers, supporters, and partners who share our love for all things LA.
Despite challenges in the local news market, we have built a strong community of loyal readers and contributors who keep our spirit alive.
