Latch on Lanarkshire Ltd is a private infant-feeding and lactation practice based in Chapelhall, Airdrie. Led by Angela Chalmers, a nurse, health visitor and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), the practice provides knowledgeable, unhurried support to families facing breastfeeding and other feeding challenges. Angela qualified as a lactation consultant in 2007 and trained as a tongue-tie practitioner in 2009. She is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and Healthcare Improvement Scotland, and is a member of the Association of Tongue-tie Practitioners.

Services include assessment and, where appropriate and with parental consent, tongue-tie division for babies up to 12 months old. The clinic also offers specialist feeding guidance and support with positioning and attachment, expressing, mastitis, blocked ducts, relactation, bottle or mixed feeding, and concerns such as colic, reflux or faltering growth. Families who choose not to proceed with a procedure can explore alternative feeding strategies, and later treatment can be arranged if preferred.
