About Lather.
Lather is a brand that offers both do-it-yourself and full-service pet grooming. Located conveniently in Pittsburgh's East End, Lather provides a convenient and affordable option for your beloved four-legged friends to get lathered up and strut their stuff in style. Whether you choose to groom your pet yourself or opt for the full-service experience, Lather guarantees an easy, clean, and quick grooming session.
At Lather, they take great care in selecting their products, ensuring that they are all-natural and eco-friendly. They also offer locally designed and produced pet accessories. In addition to grooming services, Lather provides organic pet food products that are made in the United States.
The brand was opened in 2016 by Jeff Manganello, inspired by his own furry companion, Bentley. Lather strives to create a unique pet bathing experience, making it your pet's 'home-away-from-home. ' Their do-it-yourself service includes everything you need, from the apron to shampoo and conditioner, towels, and a high-powered dryer.
They even have tub inserts for small pets, making bath time easier for both you and your furry friend. For full-service grooming, Lather offers a range of services such as baths, blow-drying, nail trimming, teeth brushing, and more. They also cater to feline friends with specialized grooming options.
Appointments are required for full-service grooming but not for self-service grooming, although it's recommended to call ahead to check availability. Lather is open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm. To ensure the safety and well-being of all pets, Lather requires up-to-date vaccination records for dogs and cats.
They also recommend regular flea and tick treatment. For the do-it-yourself service, Lather provides all the necessary bathing supplies, so all you have to bring is your dirty pet. Experience the exceptional grooming services at Lather, where they go above and beyond to make your pet feel pampered and loved.
