Latino Social Work Coalition & Scholarship Fund

The Latino Social Work Coalition & Scholarship Fund (LSWCSF) is a New York City-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2001. It works to strengthen the pipeline of Latino and bilingual social workers and mental health professionals, with a focus on culturally and linguistically competent care for vulnerable communities. Through mentorship, community support, and financial assistance, the organization helps prepare and support the next generation of practitioners.

Its programs and activities include a scholarship foundation, advocacy for the mental health workforce across New York State, and initiatives designed to connect professionals and community partners. The Coalition shares information about its impact, history, mission, and policy work, and provides resources for alumni and people interested in volunteering. It also hosts events, including its gala, and connects employers and job seekers through a social work job board. Organizations can explore partnership and sponsorship opportunities, while supporters can contribute through donations. The Coalition additionally offers branded merchandise through its storefront and invites the public to subscribe to its newsletter for updates.
