Latitude Rafting is a river adventure company based in Embrun, in France’s Hautes-Alpes. With 20 years of rafting experience, the team leads outings on the Durance, its principal river, and on the Guil, Ubaye, Drac and Guissane. Routes can extend up to 40 kilometres, offering ways for visitors to experience the rivers and landscapes of the Écrins Massif. Activities are guided and suited to different ages and levels, subject to swimming ability and the stated minimum age.

The company offers rafting in groups of four to nine, as well as hydrospeed, inflatable tandem canoeing known as hot-dog, and inflatable-kayak outings called airboat. Equipment, professional supervision and bus transport are included in the listed rafting price; other activities have separate listed rates, and group and family pricing is available on request. Participants are advised to bring a towel and, for canoe or kayak activities, suitable footwear. Latitude Rafting’s Embrun base also provides changing rooms, showers, picnic tables, a barbecue, coffee and cold drinks, giving guests space to relax before or after their river outing.
