Laudenklos Grabmale

Laudenklos Grabmale is a family-run stone carving and stonemasonry workshop in Heidelberg, led by sculptor and master stonemason Stephan Laudenklos. Established in 1919 and now in its fourth generation, the business creates and cares for memorials with an emphasis on personal guidance, skilled craftsmanship, and respectful remembrance.

Its services include individual design and production of natural-stone grave monuments, both hand-finished and polished, with lettering, ornaments, symbols, and sculptural details. The workshop also makes metal-cast and stone grave decorations and can arrange required monument permits with cemetery authorities. Additional services include inscriptions, installation and removal, temporary storage, repairs, maintenance, and cleaning. Customers can also discuss advance grave-monument planning and restoration of historic memorials.

Beyond memorial work, Laudenklos creates and restores natural-stone features such as fountains, birdbaths, and garden sculptures. The team offers personal, non-obligatory consultations and works with customers to shape each project to their wishes. Located near Heidelberg’s Bergfriedhof, the workshop welcomes visitors by appointment.
