Lauder

Lauder Javne School is a Jewish community educational institution offering learning from kindergarten through primary and secondary school, alongside a music school. Its mission is to help young people become well-educated, responsible and innovative members of both the Jewish community and Hungarian society. The school welcomes children from any national or religious background who wish to learn about Jewish culture, and it is not affiliated with a single Jewish denomination.

Lauder’s approach combines Jewish traditions and cultural heritage with Hungarian and European education. It emphasizes child-centred, personalized learning, independent thinking, ethical responsibility, social skills and respect for individual differences. Students can access differentiated teaching, talent development, small-group programs and additional specialist support. The school is also an accredited talent-development centre.

Its English Plus program uses English as a language for learning and communication, with entry options suited to children’s different levels of prior English experience. Beyond its academic programs, Lauder provides a kosher kitchen, afternoon activities and music education.
