About Lauf zur Grubenlampe
Lauf zur Grubenlampe is a community running event held in the Neue Landschaft Ronneburg, Germany. Organised for runners of all abilities, it combines a sporting challenge with the area’s mining heritage and distinctive landscape. The event’s route features the Drachenschwanzbrücke, a 225-metre wooden suspension-band bridge that serves as a landmark and a memorable stretch of the course.
Following its reopening in 2026, the event is set to return to its original route, with 7. 3 kilometres per lap; distances listed for the 2026 results include 8. 2 and 16.
4 kilometres. The website provides event announcements, route information, registration details, race rules, results, certificates, photographs, videos and press coverage. Participants and supporters can also purchase branded T-shirts, coffee mugs and medal holders, with sales helping support the event.
