Lauiesra Kinderbegeleiding

Lauiesra Kinderbegeleiding is a child-support service offering accessible, individual, home-based guidance for children up to age 12 who experience social-emotional or behavioural difficulties. Examples include anxiety, low confidence, excessive worrying, challenges with managing emotions, social difficulties, and issues associated with conditions such as ADHD or autism. Support is tailored to each child’s needs, age, interests, strengths, and abilities, with the aim of building confidence and helping children manage difficulties and continue their development.

The service uses a three-step plan to identify concerns, set personal goals, and practise helpful strategies through child-friendly activities and exercises, with parents or caregivers involved. Other options include Schatgraven met kinderen, a seven-session approach for children aged 4 to 10 that uses stories, metaphors, and strengths to encourage communication with parents and greater self-understanding, and a package combining planning with five guidance sessions. The process may include an intake, progress reviews, and a closing evaluation. Lauiesra Kinderbegeleiding notes that additional or specialist help may be appropriate when needed. The service is currently temporarily closed.
