St. Josef-Stift Sendenhorst

The Heinrich and Rita Laumann Foundation is a nonprofit organization closely connected to the people of Sendenhorst and the surrounding region. Founded in 2008, it is guided by the goal of improving quality of life in later years. The foundation pursues this mission through services, community initiatives and partnerships that support older people, those living with dementia, people with serious illnesses, and their families.

Its work includes the Sendenhorst Senior Advice Service, which offers neutral, independent guidance on aging, care needs and dementia. The foundation also operates a palliative care support point for seriously ill people and their caregivers. Through the DemenzNetz Sendenhorst, it helps people with dementia participate in community life, while the Laumann House provides a meeting place for local residents. The foundation also develops networks and projects, shares information about housing in later life, care and dementia, and organizes events and talks. Donations support its charitable work and efforts to provide practical advice, care and connection across the region.
