Laura Maya is a writer, storyteller and culturally curious digital nomad whose work explores the connections between people, places and cultures. After more than 20 years of travelling slowly through over 60 countries, she shares stories and projects inspired by her experiences around the world. Her first book, Tell Them My Name, is an inspiring true story about two Indigenous Nepalese farmers who journey from their Himalayan farm to Paris to explore Western culture.
The book also follows an intercultural adventure in which four strangers from three countries, with barely a common language, choose to become a family and face the world together.
