Laurelwood Preschool is a parent participation preschool that aims to foster independence in students while providing parents with an opportunity to actively engage in their children's education. As a parent cooperative, parents work in their child's classroom on a rotating basis, alongside the teacher, creating a seamless home-to-school transition. Additionally, parents and teachers collaborate on the Preschool Board to ensure the smooth operation of the preschool.

At Laurelwood Preschool, parents also contribute to the administrative duties of running the preschool, fostering a supportive and considerate community. Families choose Laurelwood Preschool because they value the friendships formed among students and parents within our dynamic and collaborative preschool environment. Our programs include Early Childhood (EC) for 3-year-olds, Pre-Kindergarten (PK) for 4-year-olds, and a 5-day Pre-K program for 4- and 5-year-olds.

We also offer summer camps. Visit our website to find registration information, take a virtual tour, and learn more about our mission to provide a nurturing and engaging learning experience for young learners
