Refract Studio is a Santa Fe, New Mexico-based digital studio co-founded by designer and creative technologist Lauren Cason. It creates products and experiences across healthcare, computer vision, public art, games, and immersive technology, combining product strategy, interaction design, and creative direction. Its work includes web design, augmented and mixed reality, virtual reality, apps, prototyping, and other emerging-technology projects.
The studio develops tools for hands-on healthcare, including on-device computer vision for sterile processing and safer medication workflows, as well as immersive city tours and public-space projects with arts and culture organizations.
