Lausa

Lausa is a vibrant cultural association dedicated to the preservation and promotion of local heritage, history, and arts in Mallorca. Through various initiatives, including the organization of local studies conferences and the restoration of archaeological sites, Lausa fosters a connection between community members and their cultural legacy. The association has made significant contributions to the local cultural scene, highlighted by projects such as the presentation of the book "Mort de mare" by Tomeu Matamales, which honors the influential figure of Mossèn Jaume Serra, a founding member of Lausa.

Additionally, Lausa actively participates in social and cultural movements, exemplified by their involvement in human rights initiatives across the Mediterranean. Their endeavors also include cleaning and restoring the ancient talaiotic site of Talaies d'en Clar, further enriching the region's archaeological significance. With a commitment to education and cultural development, Lausa serves as a hub for locals and visitors alike, offering opportunities to engage with the rich history and traditions of Mallorca through events, publications, and community engagement.
