About Lausanne Movement
Lausanne Movement is a global brand that connects influencers and ideas for global mission. With a vision of the gospel for every person, disciple-making churches for every people and place, Christ-like leaders for every church and sector, and kingdom impact in every sphere of society, Lausanne is dedicated to bringing leaders and people of influence together to form God-inspired, catalytic connections. The movement began with Billy Graham's desire to connect disconnected leaders, and over the past 40 years, it has organized world congresses, global gatherings, and issue-specific forums and consultations that have resulted in numerous connections, initiatives, and resources.
Lausanne operates through three spheres: Ideas, Regions, and Generations. Ideas are explored through diverse issue networks, each focused on a critical mission topic. Regions involve regional directors who facilitate connections for mission across 12 continental or sub-continental regions.
Generations are brought together through Younger Leaders Gatherings, which connect influential evangelical leaders between the ages of 25-35 and build up the next generation of influencers. As an organic movement without a formal membership structure, the Lausanne Movement invites individuals and organizations passionate about mission to explore the various ways they can connect and contribute. Join this movement and be part of a transformative mission to impact the world
