L'Auvergne pour un Enfant

L’Auvergne pour un Enfant is a charitable association built around a volunteer-led network of people in Auvergne and supporters committed to helping children from developing countries. Founded in 2000, the association focuses on two missions: welcoming and treating children born with serious medical conditions, particularly heart conditions, and training doctors from their countries in pediatric cardiology.

Each year, the organization has welcomed and helped save around 10 to 12 children from 22 developing countries. Volunteer host families care for a child for several months, providing a home and accompanying them through treatment as they would their own child.
