Lavacoating

Carolin Zibulka is an artist based in Kleve who creates distinctive glass artworks using a special technique called Lavacoating. Her practice centers on three-dimensional glass art, including wall sculptures in which layered structures and luminous pigments combine to produce changing effects in the light. Each piece is presented as an individual work with its own story, expressive character, and emotional resonance, inviting viewers to explore new perspectives and creative possibilities.

Zibulka shares her work through an online gallery and exhibitions, and welcomes visitors to her showroom and studio by individual appointment. During a visit, guests can view the glass pieces at close range, ask questions about the technique, and learn more about the works; selected pieces may also be acquired. Her website features information about her artistic background, gallery, upcoming events, and news, including exhibitions and glass-art presentations. Through studio visits and public exhibitions, Zibulka offers collectors and art enthusiasts an opportunity to experience her contemporary glass art in person and discover how its textures and pigments respond to light.
