Lavender Lactation is a lactation consulting practice serving families in Nashville and Middle Tennessee, including Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Franklin. Its board-certified International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) provide compassionate, individualized support through home visits, appointments at the Goodlettsville office, and virtual consultations. Services include prenatal education and one-to-one counseling, breastfeeding and bottle-feeding assistance, pumping guidance, and help with newborn feeding challenges.

During consultations, the team assesses feeding, oral function, latch, positioning, and milk transfer, then provides a practical care plan for families to use at home. Areas of expertise include nipple pain, low or oversupplied milk, clogged ducts, bottle refusal, supplementation, tongue-tie-related feeding concerns, relactation, weaning, and returning to work. Lavender Lactation also supports formula and combination feeding, LGBTQIA+ families, and the introduction of solid foods. The practice offers CPR classes and starting-solids support, and can help eligible clients verify insurance coverage. Self-pay clients receive a superbill for possible reimbursement; home visits may include a travel fee.
