La Virevolte 36

La Virevolte is a family-run equestrian centre and pony club in Douadic, Indre, in the heart of the Brenne Regional Natural Park. Founded in 1981 and named after the family’s first mare, the centre is run by Isabelle and Jean-Charles Liva on a 40-hectare property of woodland and pasture. Its facilities include an indoor riding arena, three outdoor arenas, paddocks and boxes, providing space for riders and horses to learn and train.

The centre welcomes beginners and experienced riders, offering riding lessons for all levels, pony and horse rides, and holiday courses for those wishing to discover or improve their skills. Riders can also arrange bespoke equestrian stays, while horse and pony owners can use the boarding services. Activities include internal events such as equifun, show jumping competitions and riding tests, alongside opportunities to compete externally. With countryside routes nearby and activities for individuals, families and groups, La Virevolte offers varied ways to enjoy horses in a natural setting.
