About Vista Church of Christ
La Vista Church of Christ in La Vista, Nebraska is a church that strives to follow the teachings of Christ in the most biblical way possible. As baptized believers, we aim to walk in newness of life through our faith in God's work of salvation. We are not perfect, but rather forgiven, and consider ourselves a diverse family of Christians from various backgrounds, ages, and education levels.
At La Vista Church of Christ, we are not affiliated with any denomination and belong solely to Him who called us. Our worship services, held on Sundays at 9:30 am and 5:00 pm, encompass singing songs without instrumental accompaniment, prayers, readings from the Bible, the sharing of the Lord's Supper, and a lesson from the Bible. We also have a Wednesday evening Bible study.
We believe that every word in the Bible is from the mind of God and seek to do all that He commands. Our worship is centered around God and follows His will, done decently and in order. We prioritize the pure Word of God and strive to be a church of Christ, wearing no other name but that of Christian.
