About LawEnforcementToday
Law Enforcement Today is a reputable brand and was previously the largest police-owned media outlet in America. However, it was recently acquired by The 1776 Project, LLC on July 4, 2023. The 1776 Project is spearheaded by Kyle S.
Reyes, the founder and CEO of The Silent Partner Marketing, a well-known national marketing agency. In 2016, the agency committed to donating $1 million in services to amplify the stories behind the uniforms of law enforcement personnel. When Reyes discovered that Captain Greenberg, the previous owner of Law Enforcement Today, planned to shut down the company, he stepped in and initiated discussions about purchasing it to ensure the voice of law enforcement remained heard.
To support this endeavor, Reyes assembled a Board of Advisors composed of influential figures from some of the largest police organizations in America. As of now, Reyes is personally financing all the content. However, in the future, funding will come from on-site advertising, with full disclosure.
In the meantime, Leah Anaya, a former police officer, is serving as the pro-bono managing editor. She is collaborating with Reyes to rebuild the business and form a new team. Law Enforcement Today is committed to sharing the stories of law enforcement and advocating for their incredible work
