Lawrence Model Railroad Club

The Lawrence Model Railroad Club (LMRC) brings people together to explore model railroading and learn about the rail industry through this engaging hobby. The club shares its interest with the wider community through train shows, open houses, and other events, offering opportunities for visitors to discover model trains and connect with fellow enthusiasts. Its events include the Very Merry 1st Holiday Train Show, created to share the enjoyment of model railroading during the holiday season; registration is announced through the club’s website.

The LMRC also welcomes new members and encourages people to join its community to learn, participate, and enjoy the fellowship of other model railroaders. Donations support the club’s work, while its community involvement reflects an ongoing effort to make the hobby accessible to the public. The club is currently seeking a new home and says it will share updates about its progress and future events.
