About Law Society of AB
The Law Society of Alberta is a self-governing body that acts as a regulator, setting the standards for lawyers in the province. They provide a range of services for both lawyers and the general public. For lawyers, the Law Society offers resources and support to enhance their professional development through continuing education and reflective practice.
They also provide guidance on practice management and consultation services. For the public, the Law Society offers resources to help find a lawyer, as well as a complaints process to address any issues that may arise. They also have public resources on financial claims and lost wills.
