AU_LawyersAlliance is a national association comprised of lawyers, academics, and professionals who are committed to safeguarding and advancing justice, freedom, and the rights of individuals. Our goal is to promote access to justice and equality before the law, irrespective of socio-economic status, gender, race, age, sexuality, or religious belief. We stand up for those whose rights have been violated by advocating for law reform and fair treatment against powerful entities.

Established in 1994, AU_LawyersAlliance was founded to address the power imbalance faced by negligence victims in civil litigation. Over the years, our organization has grown to include academics, students, and professionals who are passionate about protecting individual rights and advocating for access to justice. We receive no government funding and rely on membership fees, events, publications, and donations to fund our initiatives.

With no office or staff at our inception, we now actively engage in law reform across various levels of government. We contribute to public commentary and debate in the media and host events and conferences throughout Australia, providing valuable continuing professional development (CPD) points. Our members also benefit from our bi-monthly legal journal, Precedent, offering important updates and commentary on crucial legal areas.
