About PALU
PALU, the Pan African Lawyers Union, is the premier continental forum for lawyers and lawyers' associations in Africa. Established in 2002, PALU aims to reflect the aspirations and concerns of the African people while promoting and defending their shared interests. PALU brings together regional and national lawyers' associations, as well as over 1,000 individual lawyers, who are committed to building a united, just, and prosperous Africa based on the rule of law and good governance.
PALU members include lawyers, professionals, and institutions from various legal practice areas who share this vision. PALU offers resources such as the African Law Database, blogs, case index, publications, and job opportunities. They also organize conferences and events, including the Annual Conference, where important issues like the sovereign debt crisis in Africa are addressed.
PALU welcomes contributions in different forms to support their work. Join PALU and be part of a movement working towards a brighter future for Africa
