La Zipette is an indoor climbing gym and snack venue in Voglans, a few minutes from Chambéry and Aix-les-Bains. It welcomes visitors every day for bouldering in a fun, friendly atmosphere. This style of climbing is practised without ropes on walls around four to five metres high, with thick padded flooring to help protect climbers when they fall. Climbers tackle marked routes, or “problems,” that call for strength, agility and creative thinking. La Zipette regularly changes its varied routes, offering challenges for beginners and experienced climbers alike.
The venue includes spaces for adults, teenagers and children, and offers adult and adolescent climbing classes, children’s activities, and options for groups. Additional services include a snack and food offering, as well as climbing-shoe resoling. La Zipette is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on weekends and public holidays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is located at 40 Rue de la Françon, 73420 Voglans.
