Lazos Que Transforman is a nonprofit association focused on expanding personal and business development opportunities for people in vulnerable communities in Nuevo León, Mexico. Its work aims to strengthen individuals and improve community conditions through practical education, skills training, and connections between communities and potential supporters.
The association offers workshops in trades, personal development, and business development, along with its Emprende program, which helps participants learn a trade and pursue self-employment. Featured training topics include barbering and cellphone repair. Lazos Que Transforman also organizes activities and events, shares participant stories, and invites people to join its programs and take part in its work.
Its Enlace initiative connects sectors willing to help with communities that need support. The organization reports having held 22 workshops with 445 participants. Individuals and businesses can contribute by donating; gifts starting at 50 Mexican pesos help fund training hours for people working toward entrepreneurship. The association also provides news and updates about its activities and workshops through its website, blog, and newsletter.
