Lazy B Equine

Lazy B Equine Rescue & Sanctuary is a Utah-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit horse rescue that has been helping equines since 2017. As Utah’s only open-door equine shelter, it accepts horses at risk or affected by neglect or abuse, regardless of age, condition, behavior, training, or medical needs. Its mission is to rescue and rehabilitate horses, provide a safe haven throughout every stage of life, and educate the community about responsible horse care and animal welfare.

Lazy B offers horse adoption and accepts owner surrenders, welcoming people seeking a secure place for horses without judgment. Its community programs include equine lessons and education, humane education, volunteer events, and Little Hooves Summer Camp for children ages three to six, featuring riding education, grooming, horse interaction, games, crafts, and animal-welfare learning. Donations and supplies help fund feed, shelter, medical care, and rehabilitation. Supporters can also volunteer, explore the organization’s wish list, or follow its work online.
