LC-Steinbach

Leichtathletik Club Steinbach 1979 e. V. (LC Steinbach) is a community athletics club sharing news, training information, event reports, photographs, results and resources for its members and local sports community.

The club offers athletics activities for children and young people, with teams competing in disciplines such as sprinting, jumping, throwing and obstacle relays. Its young athletes take part in local competitions, including children’s athletics events, and the club also reports on training and team achievements. Prospective members can contact the youth coordinator about trial sessions and joining; availability may be limited during the winter season because indoor hall space is restricted, while newcomers are welcomed when outdoor training resumes.

LC Steinbach also supports broader community participation through an annual sports day where members and non-members can work toward the German Sports Badge in bronze, silver or gold. Activities include running, jumping, throwing and rope skipping, with additional opportunities to complete the badge by arrangement
