LCM Architects

LCM Architects is a Chicago-based architecture and accessibility consulting firm established in 1996. Serving clients nationwide, the firm combines traditional architecture and planning services with expertise in compliance and inclusive design. Its work aims to create environments that are beautiful, functional, and safe, while extending accessibility beyond basic requirements.

LCM provides ADA and FHA accessibility consulting alongside architecture and planning. The firm’s projects include educational, residential, and other built environments, with a focus on supporting the needs of the people who use them. One example is the Philip J. Rock Center & School, which brings together a school and residence for children with vision and hearing disabilities.

LCM’s professionals also contribute to wider conversations about accessibility, design, and safety. The firm’s work and expertise have been featured in industry news, and its team members participate in professional discussions and review activities. Through architectural services and specialized accessibility guidance, LCM helps clients consider both practical requirements and the experience of occupants throughout the design process.
