The Lawyers Committee on Nuclear Policy (LCNP) is a non-profit educational association of lawyers and legal scholars that was established in 1981. Our mission is to promote the global elimination of nuclear weapons and create a more just and peaceful world through the adherence to domestic and international law. As the UN office of the International Association of Lawyers Against Nuclear Arms, we play a crucial role in providing legal and policy analysis to policymakers, civil society, and the media.

We advocate for nuclear disarmament in various settings, including the UN and Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty meetings, as well as in Washington, DC. In addition to our advocacy work, we publish books and papers to raise awareness and educate the public about nuclear policy issues. We also actively participate in disarmament and peace networks and campaigns, collaborating with other organizations and individuals working towards the same goal.
