About Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia
Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia (LDII) is an Islamic organization committed to promoting a peaceful and harmonious society. As a neutral organization, LDII emphasizes the importance of active participation in the upcoming 2024 elections while upholding the principles of fair and unbiased engagement. LDII, in collaboration with PP Muhammadiyah, aims to prevent polarization and identity politics during the election process.
To ensure its neutrality, LDII consults with the Election Commission, Election Supervisory Board, and Election Organizer Honorary Council. LDII also focuses on community development and environmental sustainability. Its largest affiliated boarding schools have implemented solar energy systems and waste management practices, promoting a zero waste culture.
Additionally, LDII actively engages in national activities, such as the national cleanup campaign, to celebrate Indonesia's Independence Day. LDII is committed to building a democratic, just, and civilized nation
