Leaders We Deserve is a grassroots organization dedicated to electing young progressives to Congress and State Legislatures across the country. Their mission is to break down the systemic barriers faced by young progressive candidates and help them challenge the status quo. In 2020, despite representing 45% of the electorate, Millennial and Gen-Z individuals only held 21% of State Legislative seats.

With a focus on recruitment, day-to-day support, volunteer networks, and running paid media campaigns, Leaders We Deserve provides young candidates with the tools they need to run strong campaigns and win tough races. By electing more young people to office, Leaders We Deserve aims to advance the progressive agenda in key ways, including proximity to the issues, representation, increased voter turnout, and building a bench of future leaders. Join their campaign and help amplify the voices of young progressives for a brighter and more representative tomorrow
