About LeagueDAO
LeagueDAO is a decentralized open source project that aims to revolutionize fantasy sports through tokenization. By combining DeFi, play-to-earn rewards, and digital collectibles, LeagueDAO brings a new level of ownership and control to fantasy sports. With non-fungible ERC-721 tokens (NFTs) and the ERC-20 token known as LeagueDAO governance tokens ($LEAG), users can own the players that make up their teams and earn a share of a rewards pool based on team performance.
Traditional fantasy sports platforms have limitations in terms of ownership and control, but LeagueDAO changes the game. By tokenizing fantasy sports, managers can enhance the experience and value for themselves. LeagueDAO's first offering is the Nomo Fantasy Football League, a dynamic league format that rewards managers based on their team's performance.
Managers stake Nomo Player Tokens in the league and receive rewards proportional to the points generated by their staked tokens. Rewards are distributed from a yield-generating DeFi pool, and the calculation is time-weighted to ensure fairness. With LeagueDAO, fantasy sports become more than just a game.
