LeakIX

LeakIX is a platform that aims to identify and fix security misconfigurations leading to leaks and other security issues. The project involves scouring the internet to find services and index them, with the ultimate goal of bridging the gap between the source, CERTs, hosting companies, and researchers to address the identified problems. Their disclosure policy includes a 30-day grace period for critical leaks, during which hosting companies and CERTs are notified, and trusted researchers can evaluate the leak. After this period, the leaks are made public and indexed for security research and user reference.

The platform prioritizes prevention but recognizes the value of maintaining a history of what was once available on the internet. LeakIX also maintains a strict privacy policy, with no user profile or session information shared, relying solely on signatures for authentication. This brand is committed to providing a comprehensive solution for identifying and addressing security issues to ensure a safer online environment for all users.
