The Geneva Learning Foundation (TGLF) is a Swiss non-profit founded in 2016 to help people closest to health and humanitarian challenges lead practical change. It brings professionals and community-focused workers together in peer learning programmes, connecting experience from local settings with technical guidance and insights from colleagues worldwide. Its network includes more than 80,000 health and humanitarian professionals across 137 countries.
TGLF offers learning events, short primers, peer learning courses, certification programmes, and Impact Accelerators. Participants examine challenges from their own work, share experiences, develop practical projects, give and receive feedback, and implement actions with their communities. Current topics include malaria prevention and control, flood response, immunization, climate, and mental health. Certification documents participants’ contributions and implementation, rather than attendance alone, and may support professional applications and further opportunities within the foundation’s programmes.
Designed for workers across roles and countries, TGLF provides learning in multiple languages and offers podcasts and offline materials for low-bandwidth settings. Its approach aims to turn shared knowledge into locally led action and lasting improvements.
