Leavitt Systems designs and delivers advanced capabilities for national defense, focusing on systems built to adapt to complex and demanding operating environments. Its approach combines open-source software, open standards, Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) principles, and clearly documented interfaces. These foundations are intended to support interoperability, reduce dependence on a single vendor, and make systems easier to extend, upgrade, and integrate with existing mission capabilities.

The company examines system assumptions, dependencies, interfaces, and operating conditions before developing modular architectures designed to evolve as requirements and technologies change. Its systems in development include the Leavitt 601, an autonomous drone system designed to launch from a standard shipping container and operate with onboard power for extended periods without external infrastructure. The Leavitt 1202 is a containerized field node combining persistent power, command and control, and a drone field lab to support distributed operations without fixed infrastructure. Both systems are identified as patent pending. Leavitt Systems also invites partnership, contracting, and capability inquiries.
