Le Banquier Randonneur is a hiking and trekking brand founded by David Blondeau, a certified instructor who shares practical guidance to help people prepare for their outdoor adventures. Drawing on 15,000 kilometres of trekking experience across 16 countries, the brand offers resources covering equipment choices, physical preparation, route planning, and the organization of walking days. Visitors can download a free gear checklist and access a free video guide, alongside training courses, coaching, a newsletter, and a blog featuring articles and equipment reviews.
For those seeking guided experiences, Le Banquier Randonneur organizes small-group trekking and bivouac weekends in the Auvergne, Morvan, and Fontainebleau, with listed trips running from April to October. The site also features preparation content and dedicated offerings related to routes such as the GR10, GR20, and Tour du Mont Blanc, as well as kayaking and physical training. Through its educational materials and outdoor activities, the brand aims to help hikers, trekkers, and pilgrims travel more confidently, carry lighter packs, and prepare for their journeys with greater care.
