Leben – Sterben – Trauern is the practice of Christiane Fischer, a professional bereavement companion based in Stuttgart. She supports people navigating grief after a loss, offering an attentive and respectful space for feelings such as anger, exhaustion, relief and despair. Her approach is individual: clients do not need to follow a set plan or model, and sessions are shaped around what they need at the time. The aim is to help people find steadiness in everyday life while allowing their grief to take its own course.

Services include one-to-one bereavement support, grief groups and open evenings where people can meet others who are grieving. Fischer also provides support to individuals and families when someone they love is dying. For professionals, teams and volunteers who encounter grief in their work, she offers guidance to help them respond with care while maintaining their own wellbeing. The practice additionally hosts Leib & Seele, a grief café, and shares related information through its blog.
