Lebenshilfe Heidenheim

Lebenshilfe Heidenheim is a self-help, parent and professional association founded in 1962 to advance equality, inclusion and accessibility for people with disabilities and their families. Based in Heidenheim, the organisation provides person-centred support shaped around each individual’s needs and works to promote participation rather than exclusion.

Its services include open support, therapeutic riding, workshops and residential options, as well as guidance for relatives and other people seeking advice. The organisation also offers information and assistance for businesses. Its workshops undertake work assignments, with trained staff guiding employees through each step and a focus on careful, timely, high-quality results.

Lebenshilfe Heidenheim also offers its own products, including items listed as Grill- und Feuerhurgele, Handy-Putzi, Hurgeles-Feuer and Glasbaustein. The organisation welcomes people interested in contributing through jobs, training, internships, study placements, voluntary social service or volunteering. Through its work with individuals, families, local businesses and the wider community, Lebenshilfe Heidenheim aims to strengthen inclusion and equal opportunity across the region.
