Lebenshilfe Oberbayern

Lebenshilfen Oberbayern is a regional initiative connecting people with meaningful careers in social work and disability support. Its job portal brings together opportunities from Lebenshilfe organizations across Oberbayern, serving communities in areas including Munich, Freising, Traunstein, and Weilheim-Schongau. The initiative supports people at different career stages, from students and volunteers to experienced professionals seeking a new direction.

Its work is organized around four areas: supporting children and young people through early intervention, inclusive childcare, and schools; providing residential services ranging from around-the-clock assistance to more independent living; helping people find and integrate into suitable employment, including workshops and inclusive businesses; and offering community-based support that makes participation in everyday life, leisure, and holidays easier.

The portal advertises roles for educators, social workers, caregivers, and other specialists, and welcomes unsolicited applications. Training pathways include early childhood education, special-needs education, remedial education, and social pedagogy, with practical guidance and opportunities to exchange experience across facilities.
