Berger Américain

Élevage des Plaines de Barbizon is a family-oriented dog breeder based in Barbizon, Seine-et-Marne, in the Île-de-France region, about an hour from Paris. The kennel specializes in Miniature American Shepherds, also called Berger Américain Miniature, and Pembroke Welsh Corgis, offering information about available puppies and future litters. Its dogs are raised on 20,000 square metres of meadow and woodland, where they can explore, join activities, and take part in family life.

The breeder says puppies are socialized and raised with natural products, and that each puppy receives the Bio Sensor early neurological stimulation program between the third and sixteenth days of life. The owner is a canine behaviourist and ethologist, with training in therapy-dog support. The site also provides guidance for prospective owners, including advice on welcoming a puppy, training, health testing, hereditary conditions, colour genetics, and sterilization.

Additional resources cover natural approaches to parasite care and canine wellbeing. The kennel is a member of the French Miniature American Shepherd association and offers canine mediation services
