Au sud de Charleroi, le Bois du Cazier est un lieu culturel incontournable sur fond de patrimoine industriel. Niché au creux d’un écrin de verdure, cet ensemble architectural, couronné par deux châssis à molettes, est ceinturé de trois terrils propices aux promenades. Un parcours muséal consacré au charbon, à l’acier et au verre y est décliné en trois lieux : l’Espace 8 août 1956, le Musée de l’Industrie et le Musée du Verre.
