Lecymy Durś is a sports association and community running group founded in 2017, based mainly in Piekary Śląskie, Poland. Its members range in age and are brought together by a shared enthusiasm for running and Nordic walking. The group welcomes participants from beyond the city and encourages people to exercise at their own pace and according to their abilities, with enjoyment and mutual motivation at the heart of its training.
Lecymy Durś holds weekly running sessions on Wednesdays at 7 p.m., with routes and workouts that may include roads, cross-country terrain, tracks and hill runs. It also offers weekly Nordic walking sessions, led by experienced instructors. Members take part in sporting events and group excursions, while the association promotes physical activity as a way to build community.
The organization also supports people in need through charitable initiatives. Its flagship event, the Pomagamy Durś charity run, raises funds for participants of occupational therapy workshops, helping support their needs and projects.
